The Latin American Association of Medicinal Chemistry (ALAQMed) is a non-profit scientific society created with the objectives of promoting scientific research in Medicinal Chemistry in Latin America;  foster professional training and development by organizing events, courses, seminars, and workshops aimed at training members; stimulate the exchange of knowledge and mediate dialogue between the Latin American scientific community of medicinal chemistry and the main international and national scientific societies of chemistry and related areas. ALAQMed also aims to act as a catalyst to integrate researchers, promote advanced technical skills, disseminate research results, and drive innovation in the discovery of new drugs, always in line with ethical principles and social responsibility.
